Garrett is the Chairman of the Board of the Cancer Nutrition Consortium and a co-founder of Attention Span where he leads strategy development for campaigns and clients. With extensive experience in digital, social, video and traditional media, Garrett brings a wide-ranging and invaluable understanding to the companies we work with. He is a frequent panelist on digital/social agency work, audience development, social influence and web video. An EMMY Award winner, he honed his traditional media savvy as VP, CFO and General Manager of KHIZ-TV Los Angeles, where – as the youngest GM in LA television – he oversaw all operations of the station and company, executing its successful turnaround and technology overhaul. Before KHIZ, he helped launch Global Outsight – a media strategy and M&A consultancy based in Cambridge, MA and was on the staff of the mayor of Boston. He is a Harvard graduate who majored in engineering and the History of Science.
