Mustard Glazed Ham

Not your run-of-the-mill glaze.

  • Serves: 8

Ingredients

  • 1 Bone-In Cooked Ham Approximately 3 to 4 pounds; Not a spiral pre-cut
  • 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tbsp Stone Ground Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Cooking Spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. In small bowl, mix maple syrup, mustard and vinegar together.

  3. Pat ham dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Remove any visible fat.

  4. If there is any skin on the ham, cut a cross pattern making sure to cut through the skin and any fat underneath, but do not cut into the meat.

  5. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Place a piece of aluminum foil on sheet. Spray foil with cooking spray.

  6. Place ham on foil and spread mustard mixture over the top, getting it into all crevices on cross cuts that may have been made.

  7. Place second sheet of foil over the ham and crimp the edges on to the bottom sheet, forming a sealed packet.

  8. Place in oven and cook for 1 hour. Remove from oven and carefully open foil, draining any liquid that may have accumulated.

  9. Let ham sit for 15 minutes before carving.
